The Customer
The International Association of Human Trafficking Investigators (IAHTI) is a nonprofit that supports law
enforcement agencies worldwide in combating human trafficking. Its team is made up of active and retired investigators, prosecutors, analysts, and survivors, providing hands-on expertise and training to agencies across the U.S., Canada, and beyond.
The Challenge
Agencies faced critical barriers to effectively investigating human trafficking:
- Data locked in silos across jurisdictions.
- Manual, time-consuming collaboration processes.
- Lack of budget for advanced analytics and training.
- Urgent need for faster victim identification and prosecution of traffickers.
The Solution
CloudHesive, in partnership with IAHTI, built a cloud-native, AI-powered records management platform on AWS. The solution provides:
- A shared RMS for cross-jurisdictional visibility across the U.S. and Canada.
- AI-driven analytics and natural language search to connect cases faster.
- Real-time dashboards and alerts to accelerate investigations.
- Integrated best practices and training from IAHTI to empower investigators.
- A “give-to-get” model, ensuring agencies contribute and access data for free.
The Results
This project showcases how Gen AI and AWS cloud-native solutions can address one of society’s toughest challenges. The model is scalable, globally applicable, and positions CloudHesive and AWS as true partners in driving impact at scale.
