Company Acquisition requires ambitious migration!

Onapsis provides cybersecurity and compliance solutions for cloud and on-premises ERP and business-critical applications. Its solutions include the Onapsis Security Platform, a widely used SAP-certified cyber-security solution in the market. Unlike generic security products, Onapsis’ context-aware solutions deliver both preventative vulnerability and compliance controls, as well as real-time detection and incident response capabilities to reduce risks affecting critical business processes and data.

The Challenge

Onapsis approached CloudHesive with the challenge of facing an ambitious migration (very quickly). The company had acquired a company whose data center was in Germany.

An upcoming contract accelerated the need to migrate workloads from their on-premises data center to one in the cloud.

Onapsis came to CloudHesive through Amazon, recognizing its certification as Amazon Premier Consulting; maximum rating granted by the technological giant to companies that use its products and services.

The Solution

The workload was very large and Onapsis did not have the resources available for the operational purpose in the stipulated time.

Thanks to CloudEndure, an AWS solution focused on business continuity, disaster recovery, continuous backup, and live migration, CloudHesive was able to take over the migration of 146 virtual machines from Germany to AWS in less than 6 weeks.

The Results

The migration solution allowed Onapis to have a seamless transition to the cloud and allowed them to focus on their business acquisition, people and not have to focus on the data transition.
